Led Zeppelin Ads

These are ORIGINAL vintage advertisements issued to promote the release of a Led
Zeppelin or related project, or a special event. They are NOT reprints or reproductions;
they are actual advertisements! Considering the collectability of the band, these are rare
considering that most issues of the magazines these originally appeared in were thrown
out after the next issue came out. Plus industry publications like Billboard, Album
Network, Hits, etc. receive more limited distribution than more commercial magazines,
and these ads were primarily seen by music industry personnel. Any of these rarities,
which vary in condition, would be great to have matted and framed; they will certainly
turn heads when people see them displayed!

Album Charts

In Through The Out Door Billboard Chart: LARGE Double page 13 ½” x 22” Billboard Magazine Top LP’
s and Tape Chart for the week ending October 6, 1979 with Led Zeppelin’s In Through The Out Door in
the Number One spot! It was Number One the previous week also, and the chart reflects that it was on the
Top LP and Tape Chart for a total of five weeks up to that point. Besides it’s size, one of the coolest things
is that there is a picture of Led Zeppelin in the field at the bottom of the chart, along with the words “#1 LP
This Week: Led Zeppelin In Through The Out Door”. Led Zeppelin IV is also on the chart, listed at Number
89, and Houses of the Holy is in the “New and Hot” section in the lower right! Very cool item not only for
Zeppelin collectors, but also chart collectors. $12.99

related) albums, songs, video or DVD, etc. in the number one positions. There’s a Canadian singles chart
from 1970 with Whole Lotta Love in the top spot, a 1977 Top Grossing Concerts chart with Zep’s Pontiac

Magazine charts, all with Led Zeppelin and their albums or 8-Tracks in the number one positions. There
are 2 very cool Record World charts with In Through The Out Door in the top spots, along with an image of
the ITOD logo. There are also Billboard Top LP charts with Zep II on top and with Presence on top. And
there’s two 1970 charts with 8-Tracks and Cassettes, both with Led Zeppelin II at Number One. Great
archival stuff for Zep or chart fans! $8.99
